Philosophy:
I'm trying to keep things simple and transparent for me.
I don't want to use something like vercel for hosting, I want a simple VPS.
I'm not using a bundler but a custom script to turn .md files into html.
I'm not using any JS framework but just vanilla JS and Web APIs.
This is not a statement against the current state of web development. I think technologies like Vercel, React, vite,... are really useful but I use them in a professional context. For this personal project, I prefer to use the least amount of abstraction and use exclusively tools that bring me joy.
